Kerio MailServer is a full featured corporate mail server with encrypted access to user mailboxes and strong anti-spam features aimed at eliminating mail abuse by both internal users and spammers. Unlike some solutions, Kerio MailServer forwards every piece of email, whether inbound or outbound, to the scanning solution regardless of how the mail is being accessed by the user. This removes the major drawback of anti-virus SMTP gateways where a piece of email is checked only when sent using SMTP protocol. This ensures that users accessing their mail through Kerio MailServer’s secure or regular WebMail get the same level of protection as those using a standard POP3, SMTP or IMAP email application.

With its latest release, Kerio MailServer supports the use of a specially configured version of Eset’s proven anti-virus technology. "NOD32 is a legend in the anti-virus world. Kerio MailServer with NOD32 is available for Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP and Linux RedHat. The combined solution starts at USD 590 for 20 users, with anti-virus update subscription, phone and email technical support, and free upgrades for 1 year. Both products are available in English and French.
